Image: Swing Skate and Star statue in The Elms Park Bracknell Town Council provide 33 recreational areas across the town, where children and young people can play or meet friends.  More information about our play areas and recreation areas can be found under 'Recreation' on the menu bar above.  We are also responsible for Larges Lane Cemetery

A pdf version of the Town Guide is available for viewing or download Please note changes for page 34:  There is no longer a cash office at Easthampstead House.  The reception at Seymour House used for education-related enquiries was closed to the public at the end of March 09 and customers now visit Easthampstead House.  The times for contacting the Borough Council by telephone and the reception opening times are now 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.

Bracknell Town Council complies with the Freedom of Information Act and has adopted the Model Publication Scheme.   Many of our documents are available on this website, for instance, Notice of Public Rights, Annual Audit Letter, Value for Money Conclusion and Annual Accounts.

Image:children and balloons.The halls at Braybrooke Recreation Ground, Great Hollands Recreation Ground and the Copse Suite at Jocks Lane are available for one-off hires such as weddings, anniversaries, children's and family birthdays, and other special occasions.  For more information check the Halls for Hire page.

The Council Chamber at Brooke House is also available for hire from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. with seating for up to 30 people, costing £23.50 + VAT per hour.  Access to the internet is a one-off charge of £5.00.  Evening meetings may be arranged with discretion of the Town Clerk. 

Tea and Coffee is available at 50p per cup.  We provide black and white photocopying from just 5p per copy, and colour copies from 20p each.  Contact us on 01344 420079, or e-mail clerk@bracknelltowncouncil.gov.uk.


Image: football and netImage: Hockey playerThe Synthetic Pitch at Birch Hill Recreation Ground is available all year round for Hockey and Football from 35.00 per hour.  Full floodlighting is available from £23.00 per hour.


Image: BTC Bandstand in the Town Centre The Bandstand is available for use by local organisations.  It may be used for fundraising in conjunction with a street collections permit (to be obtained from Bracknell Forest Borough Council one month before date required), and various types of promotional work.  Users should live or be based within the Bracknell Town area.   There is no charge for use of the Bandstand.  More information, including booking dates, can be seen on the Bandstand information page. We are looking for groups and bands of all types to play on the Bandstand.  Whether you are young or old, a traditional Brass Band, swing band, choir or orchestra we would love to hear from you.   School bands and choirs are welcome to use the Bandstand on any weekday.
