Comments, Complaints and Compliments
Policy
Whilst the Town Council is proud of the services it provides, sometimes things go wrong or get missed and we like to have the opportunity to put things right as soon as possible.
If you have a Complaint about our services, please contact us as soon as possible by phone, email or post, setting out clearly the nature of your complaint and if appropriate the exact location. We will respond to you within three working days to let you know what is happening and will put the matter right as soon as we are able to, within budgetary constraints.
You can download our complaints policy from this website.
Health and safety matters will be given the highest priority.
Complaints can also be made via your local Ward Councillor: their contact details can be found on the Councillors page.

Complaints Register
Complaints are logged in a complaints register which contains details of each complaint and any action taken in response. A copy of the Complaints Register is put before each Full Council meeting in order that trends can be analysed and lessons learnt to inform the improvement of future service delivery.
Compliments Register
Naturally, we are always pleased to receive compliments about our work and these are passed on to staff members and Councillors as appropriate. Compliments are logged in a compliments register which is put before each Full Council meeting to inform Councillors of what we are doing well. If you have a compliment to make about our facilities or services please contact us by phone, e-mail or post, or by passing it on to our staff.
Comments
We consider all requests for service carefully and will address matters raised if it is possible to do so within time and budgetary constraints. We welcome information about issues we may have overlooked or are unaware of, e.g. missing padlocks on allotment gates, overhanging trees etc.
