The Town Council maintains 36 recreation areas across the Town area, providing a range of facilities. Wherever you are in Bracknell Town there is a recreation area within easy reach. The locations of the Council's recreation areas are listed here by ward.
Birch Hill
Hedgehog Park
Play equipment suitable for a large age range including swings, see-saw, spring car, multi-climbers, cycle twist, slide, basketball facilities a teenage meeting place and skateboard facilities.

The Birch Hill recreation area boasts a top of the range full size synthetic pitch available to be hired for hockey or football. Changing facilities and floodlighting are available when required, at extra cost.
During winter evenings the Town Council operates a kiosk selling hot drinks and light refreshments.
Birch Hill also provides one full sized, one intermediate and one junior grass football pitch and a cricket square, all of which are available for hire.
There is a selection of play equipment suitable for a large age range, an outdoor basketball court and a large hard surface fenced kick-about area. Adjacent to the play area is a teenage meeting place with shelter.
The on-site Pavilion is leased to the Bracknell Hockey Club who regularly use the synthetic pitch.
A large car park completes the facilities.

The Elms Park
Recently refurbished, this town centre park offers local office workers and neighbours the opportunity to stretch their legs in an attractive urban setting.
The park includes a childrens play area, teenage meeting shelter, seating, picnic tables and junior football pitches, as well as a range of formal flower and shrub beds and borders.
A group of cast statues - Swing, Skate & Star - were installed in 2009 and prove to be a constant attraction.
Parking (limited on weekdays) is available next to the Avis building off Park Road.

Braybrooke Recreation Ground
This 15 acre recreation ground with football pitches and two children's play areas is a popular area for children, young people and dog walkers. There are a number of attractions for older children including a spectacular maypole swing, rock stack and teenage meeting shelter.
On site is a large well-appointed community hall with kitchen, which is available for hire and is accessible for those with mobility difficulties. The hall also provides changing facilities for sports teams.
Jean's Pond is close to the community hall and offers a tranquil setting for fishing. Permits can be purchased at Brooke House.
There is a large free car park next to the community hall and the Town Council’s works depot is also based at this site.

Great Hollands Recreation Ground
Situated on the southern edge of the parish is the Town Council’s largest recreation area – Great Hollands. This park offers a wide range of facilities for all the family including seating and picnic tables.
The Pavilion (open most weekends and school holidays, but subject to closure in inclement weather) has public toilets and a coffee shop offering light refreshments.
Changing facilities and floodlighting (for the tennis / netball courts) are available when required, at extra cost.
Other facilities include a paddling pool, tennis courts (weekends only), tennis practice court / ball games area, football pitches, netball courts, a full size cricket square and children's play area.
Also on the site is Great Hollands Bowls Club whose Club House and rink are situated adjacent to the Pavilion. One rink of the bowling green is available for public hire through the Pavilion coffee shop.

This attractive park was awarded a Green Flag in 2012 and is an ideal location for a family picnic with plenty to keep the family entertained. The popular paddling pool is a particular favourite with younger children and is next to the pavilion with family friendly toilet facilities including a shower cubicle. The pavilion also has a coffee shop serving light refreshments and a hall which is available for hire.
The park also boasts a well-appointed play area, teenage meeting shelter, miniature golf, tennis courts, basketball court, boules court, hard surface kick about area and a large playing field with junior football pitches.

Situated in the south of the parish, Mill Park provides an ideal leisure opportunity for all the family with extensive children’s play areas, a skate park, fishing platforms and walks around the lake (dogs must be kept on the lead around the lake).
