Teenage Meeting Places

Teenage meeting places take several forms, but usually comprise a combination of somewhere for young people to sit, a football goal, basketball goals, small scale skateboard equipment or a large piece of play equipment. They are carefully located in the open and well away from properties where noise might be a problem. They have proved very successful and since their inception vandalism on play areas has been reduced considerably.

The Birch Hill recreation area boasts a top of the range full size synthetic pitch available to be hired for hockey or football. Changing facilities and floodlighting are available when required, at extra cost.

There is a selection of play equipment suitable for a large age range, an outdoor basketball court and a large hard surface fenced kick-about area. Adjacent to the play area is a teenage meeting place with shelter.

The on-site Pavilion is leased to the Bracknell Hockey Club who regularly use the synthetic pitch.
